  • Charles E. Pearson was in the town on legal business yesterday.
  • CW. S. and R. C. Barnes, of Salt Lake, spent Thankgiving in Kaysville.
  • Thanksgiving in Kaysville was spent very quietly.  A dance in the music hall at night was the only form of amusement.
  • The Sunday school children are to have a day out next Wednesday. A picnic and programme in the morning and a dance in the Music hall in the afternoon, will be given for their special enjoyment.  In the evening there will be a dance for the older people to help defray the expenses.  Tickets fifty cents.
  • Tickets for the performance of “Enoch Arden” by the Farmington Dramatic company, this evening are having quite a large sale, and indications are that there will be a full house.  The people of Kaysville understand and appreciate the abilities of the Johnson Brothers both as teachers and actors, and the appearance of Mose Johnson’s name in the title role, forms quite an attraction.
  • Judge Phillips and party returned from their unsuccessful deer-hunting trip, last Thursday evening.  During their eleven days’ absence they succeeded in killing one deer–no doubt a cripple.  From what we can learn, deer in the Lost Crook region this year, are very conspicuous by their absence, and it is very probable that local Nimrods will have to look for other hunting grounds in the future.
  • On next Friday evening, December 5, the Home Dramatic club and members of the elocutionary class under the management of Mr. Mose Johnson, will present the renowned drama “East Lynne,” at the Music hall.  We notice by the cast of characters, that some of our best local talent will take part, and with Mr. Johnson as “Archibald Carlyle” and Miss Lissa Balla as “Lady Isabel,” we see no chance of being mistaken in our expectations of a dramatic treat.  Tickets will be on sale at the Co-op store.   KAYSVILLE, November 29.    M.
