ORAL HISTORY

oral history continues to play an important role capturing what otherwise may be lost to time.

Oral History has been around ever since mankind began to communicate.  It started as storytelling and became the means by which important information was passed to family or tribe from one generation to then next.  Although there are many mediums capturing history today, oral history continues to play an important role capturing what otherwise may be lost to time.   Personal perspectives, photographs previously without description, and firsthand accounts of past events are the order of the day.

We are passionate about oral history, and hope to instill enthusiasm for this traditional method of conveying our history.  Join us in remembering through the eyes and voices of others who came before us.
