Arts and Culture Exhibit

Our museum efforts are an offering to those who came before us to live and work on the land we now call Fruit Heights and Kaysville. Their history and our memories make up the stories we share.
We are excited to announce a new exhibit to be shown through December 2022 featuring an award-winning quilt, the components of which illustrate Kaysville memories of the creator. We are also pleased to host a Dia De Los Muertos ofrenda created by Oaxaca en Utah which illustrates how one culture honors those who have died, with the particular intention of teaching the younger generation about those ancestors who they may never have met. Both purposes fit neatly within the goals of the Kaysville-Fruit Heights Museum of History & Art.
Right now, without leaving your home you can learn more about the Day of the Dead thanks to Benjamin Carver who has made subtitles to a live video created by Norma Carver with explanations in English.
