Suffrage 100 and 150 Year Anniversaries

Kaysville Fruit Heights Museum of History and Art celebrates the 150th anniversary of suffrage and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment ratification.

We began our suffrage celebration with a yearlong exhibit in Fruit Heights City Hall.  In July we decorated the Old Town Kaysville business section with banners, window displays, and flowers in national suffrage colors.  Our efforts, and results, were unique in Utah because most museums had closed down due to the pandemic.  In conjunction with the celebration decorations, the Main Street business tour was offered.  Thanks to the volunteers who helped make this a memorable and worthy effort.
